Welcome to Root to Bloom, where the power of nature, play, and conscious parenting converge to create lasting connections between you and your child.
This seasonal class invites you and your little one to gather outdoors, explore, and learn together through open-ended activities that nurture emotional growth, build trust, and encourage joy-filled learning.
Led by a certified parenting mentor, this is not just another class—it’s a holistic experience where both you and your child will thrive. Each session is designed to foster the essential parent-child bond, support developmental milestones, and offer actionable parenting wisdom rooted in science and connection.
Outdoor Exploration & Play: Immersing ourselves in nature, your child will be invited to explore, create, and learn through open-ended invitations to play. These activities are designed to develop your child’s emotional regulation, social skills, and creativity—all while strengthening the bond between you both. Research consistently shows that outdoor play supports healthy brain development, fosters emotional resilience, and encourages social connection.
Parenting Guidance Available: As your children climb, dig, wander, and bloom, you’re invited to soften too.
Root to Bloom is not a formal coaching space, but I do bring my work as a certified parenting mentor into the container. If questions arise — in class or at home — you’re always welcome to reach out, share, or talk things through in conversation during class or inside our GroupMe community.
A Warm, Supportive Community: Root to Bloom is a place to connect with like-minded parents who value connection, play, and emotional growth. You’ll share the experience of learning together, building relationships, and supporting one another as you nurture your child’s development.

FAQs:
What should I bring to class?
Wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and shoes for outdoor play! Bring a snack or picnic style lunch to enjoy together before our closing circle.
What if my child just likes to do their own thing during class?
That’s just fine! Children are invited to participate in an opened-ended activity, however there is plenty to explore if they would rather create their own activity in the sand box, climb on the climbing dome, etc. As far as I’m concerned, the more open-ended and child-initiated, the better!
Is this class only for parents with children of a specific age?
While the activities are tailored for younger children, parents with children of all ages can benefit from the connection and wisdom shared in the class.
